Operating Room RN / OR Scrub Tech — Travel Contract

Martinsburg, WV | 13-Week Contract | Days

This busy OR runs 24/7 across multiple suites, including a hybrid room and a dedicated procedure room, averaging 35–45 cases daily. The case mix is broad and high-acuity, making this an excellent fit for an experienced OR traveler who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-specialty environment.

Case Mix Includes:

• General, ENT, ophthalmology, podiatry, sports medicine, and hand surgery
• Heavy orthopedic volume: total joints (hips, knees, shoulders), ORIF, external fixation, spine (neuro spine, TLIF, ALIF, laminectomy, discectomy, fusions, VP shunts, ventriculostomies, burr holes, nerve stimulators)
• Robotic surgery (Da Vinci and Rosa ortho platforms)
• Vascular: AV fistulas, carotid, fem-pop, angiograms, BKA
• Pediatric ENT and dental; emergent cases (appendectomy, trauma, craniotomies)
• *Excludes CVOR and L&D C-sections*

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 3 days/week, primarily 7:00 AM–7:30 PM. Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call rotation required. Call response time: 30 minutes. Float to outpatient surgery as needed. No self-scheduling for travelers.

Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA); PALS preferred for RNs. CST preferred for OR Techs (BLS required).

Must-Have Experience:

• Minimum 2–3 years of OR experience; 2–3 prior travel assignments required
• Ortho experience required
• Robot arm-passing experience (Da Vinci) required
• All-specialty experience required for evening/night shift (overnight RN works with 2 techs)

Orientation: 3 shifts (1 week)
