CT Technologist – Nights

Location: Stockton, CA

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Position Overview

The facility's imaging department is seeking a CT Technologist for overnight shifts. You'll perform computed tomography exams, prepare and administer contrast media, and ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging in a fast-paced acute care setting.

Shift Details

• Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour nights)
• Schedule: Every other weekend
• On-Call: Monday–Friday and weekend rotation during off-shift hours
• Float Duty: First-to-float position
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Core Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging exams per physician orders with accurate positioning and image quality
• Prepare and administer contrast media; monitor patients for adverse reactions
• Review patient history and screen for contraindications (allergies, renal function, pregnancy)
• Operate CT equipment and troubleshoot technical issues
• Follow radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles
• Document exams accurately in RIS/PACS systems
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians

Requirements

• ARRT(R) – Radiography certification required; ARRT(CT) – CT certification required
• State radiologic technology license (as applicable)
• BLS certification required
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• 1+ years CT experience preferred
• IV certification/venipuncture skills often required
