Emergency Room / Urgent Care RN — Travel Contract

Saratoga Springs, NY | Days | 13-Week Contract

This travel RN position supports an urgent care and emergency department setting serving a diverse patient population including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The department handles a high daily visit volume across a 15-room unit and requires nurses comfortable managing both emergent and urgent acuity cases.

Shift & Schedule

• Day shift: 7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 9:00 AM–9:30 PM (start time varies)
• Alternating weeks of 32 and 36 hours; guaranteed 32 hours
• Weekend requirement: 8-hour Sunday shifts per contract
• Float within the facility as needed based on skillset

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of RN experience in adult and pediatric emergency settings
• Active New York State RN license in hand at time of submission
• BLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• ACLS preferred; TNCC preferred
• Travel experience preferred
• Must pass a proctored EKG/rhythm identification exam: ≥85% overall and 100% accuracy on critical rhythms
• Ability to read and interpret cardiac rhythms is mandatory

• Candidates with a permanent address within 50 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemption requests must be submitted at least two weeks before start)
• All required online modules must be completed by 7:00 AM the Wednesday before your start date
• Maximum pre-approved time off: 7 days or fewer per contract
