About the Unit

This orthopedic and spine unit provides specialized post-surgical care for patients recovering from knee and hip replacements as well as multi-level spine surgeries. The unit is supported by unit secretaries, PCTs, and navigators, creating a collaborative care environment.

• Float Policy: Rotation float required

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with a strong orthopedic background
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS as required

Skills & Attributes

• Demonstrated compassion and teamwork
• Familiarity with post-surgical orthopedic care, including use of cooling units, CPMs, SCDs, and ambulation aids
