Telemetry Nursing – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced telemetry nurse for its cardiac monitoring unit. This is a 13-week contract assignment with night shifts.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Start Date: Flexible (available every Monday)
- Location: Atlanta, GA area; on-site work required
Clinical Scope
You'll monitor cardiac patients across the facility using telemetry systems, respond to arrhythmias, and support the acute care team. Patient-to-nurse ratios typically range from 4:1 to 5:1. Strong cardiac assessment and rhythm interpretation skills are essential.
Requirements
- License: Current Georgia RN license or compact license
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of telemetry experience within the past 3 years
- Certification: Rhythm identification competency required (proctored test administered upon start; two attempts permitted)
- Scrubs: Navy blue
Additional Information
- Candidates must be willing to travel within a 50-mile radius; no local travelers
- Interview process managed by nursing management
- All candidates required to complete rhythm identification assessment
