Circulating Nurse – Operating Room

Location: San Rafael, CA

Contract Duration: 8 weeks

Start Date: July 31, 2026

Schedule: Three 12-hour rotating shifts per week (weekdays); variable start/stop times

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced circulating nurse to support a busy specialty surgical facility. You'll work across multiple service lines in a fast-paced OR environment, requiring independence and flexibility.

Required Qualifications

• Peri-Op 101 Certification (required)
• CNOR certification (preferred)
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Demonstrated competency in circulating for the following specialties:
• Urology
• Vascular
• Orthopedics
• Pain Management
• Spine
• Ophthalmology
• Plastics

What to Expect

You'll manage the OR environment, coordinate surgical teams, ensure instrument and supply readiness, and maintain adherence to sterile protocols across a diverse surgical schedule. This role demands independent decision-making and the ability to adapt quickly between different surgical specialties.

Contract Details

• 32 guaranteed hours per week
• Rotating shift assignments
• 8-week contract
