Speech Language Pathologist – Red Bluff, CA
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join the acute care team for a 13-week contract. This is a full-time position supporting patients across various clinical areas requiring speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive assessment and treatment.
Shift & Schedule
- 4 x 10-hour days
- Every other weekend off
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week
- Float assignment with potential rotation to an affiliated facility
Requirements
- Current California state license (required)
- Active BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
What to Expect
You'll evaluate and treat patients with swallowing disorders, speech delays, language deficits, and cognitive impairments. Work includes both inpatient consultations and direct care in an acute setting. The role requires flexibility to support unit needs and occasional floats to maintain continuity across the organization.
