Respiratory Therapist – NICU/PICU/CVICU

Location: Cleveland, OH

Shift: Day shift, 3×12 hours (07:00–19:30) or 4×12 hours

Contract: 8 or 12 weeks

Start Date: September 28, 2026

About the Role

The facility is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care for pediatric patients across the NICU, PICU, and CVICU. You'll manage ventilator support, airway management, and respiratory interventions for high-acuity neonatal and pediatric patients, including post-surgical cardiac cases.

Float Assignment

You may float to affiliated NICU units and pediatric rehabilitation services as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Active Ohio RRT license (in hand at time of application)
• NBRC certification (active, current)
• BLS, Advanced NRP, and PALS (active and current)
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric respiratory therapy experience (NICU, PICU, or high-acuity pediatric care)
• Two professional references from a manager, supervisor, or director from assignments within the past 12 months

Key Requirements

• Nicotine-free/smoke-free facility requirement (no exceptions)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen (including cotinine) within 12 months of start
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting (must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing)
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions available)
• All work history and certifications must be provided at submission
