Sonographer – Night Shift

Location: Manchester, NH

Shift: 21:00–07:00, Monday–Thursday (4 x 10)

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Start Date: July 20, 2026

About the Role

The facility's ultrasound department is seeking an experienced sonographer for night shift coverage. You'll perform a full range of diagnostic and interventional ultrasound procedures in a busy acute-care setting, working independently with clinical autonomy and strong departmental support.

Typical Procedures

• Thoracentesis and paracentesis
• Fine-needle aspirations (thyroid, parotid, lymph nodes)
• Soft tissue and lymph node biopsies
• Liver and renal biopsies
• Image-guided drainages (abscesses, cysts, hematomas, gallbladders)
• Thrombin injections
• Breast needle placements
• Vascular (carotid) studies
• OB-GYN and general ultrasound

Required Qualifications

• Current NH MIRT license
• RDMS certification (in hand prior to submission)
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of clinical hospital or acute-care experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, pathology, and sonographic physics
• Experience with general, vascular, and OB-GYN sonography

Preferred Qualifications

• RVT, OB-GYN, or AB certification
• Operating room experience with ultrasound procedures
• 1+ year post-educational experience
