Respiratory Therapist – Night Shift

Location: Asheville, NC

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Hours: 36 hours/week guaranteed

About the Role

The facility's Respiratory Services department is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for the night shift. You'll deliver direct patient care across critical care units and medical/surgical floors, managing a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels.

Clinical Environment

You'll work with adult and neonatal/pediatric patients, operating a range of ventilators and non-invasive respiratory support devices. Typical duties include mechanical ventilation management, weaning protocols, airway care, non-invasive ventilation, and high-flow oxygen therapy.

Requirements

• North Carolina Respiratory License (RRT)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• NRP certification (preferred)

Scheduling & Expectations

• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Rotating weekends (minimum 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule)
• On-call responsibilities may apply
• Float assignments to all critical care units and floors

Dress Code

Medium gray/pewter scrubs
