Respiratory Therapist – Night Shift
Location: Asheville, NC
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks

The facility's Respiratory Services department is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift position supporting adult critical care units and specialty service lines, including NICU and pediatrics.
What You'll Do:
You'll manage a diverse patient population across multiple critical care units, providing ventilator management, non-invasive respiratory support, and high-flow oxygen therapy. Your scope includes mechanical ventilation, transport ventilation, and care for neonatal and pediatric patients requiring specialized respiratory support.
Requirements:
- Current North Carolina Respiratory License
- RRT certification (required — CRT candidates will not be considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Willingness to float across all critical care units and floors
Preferred:
- NRP certification
What to Expect:
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Varying weekend schedule (minimum 4 weekend shifts per 6-week rotation)
- Medium gray/pewter scrubs
- Team-oriented, high-acuity environment
