Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Start Date: August 25, 2026

Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

About the Unit

This pediatric intensive care unit provides high-acuity care to critically ill children in a teaching hospital environment. The unit is staffed around the clock with intensivists, RNs, and respiratory therapists, with additional support services available during day hours. The team is experienced, collaborative, and accustomed to working alongside advanced learners in an academic setting.

Typical procedures include:

IV starts and blood draws
TPN placements
Continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT)
Comprehensive cardiac and respiratory monitoring

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of current, acute care PICU RN experience (required)
Active RN license
BLS and PALS certification (required)

Preferred Qualifications

CRRT experience
APHON certification
Pediatric teaching hospital background
