Respiratory Therapist – Emergency Department

Shift: Night, 3x12-hour (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Contract Duration: 8 or 12 weeks

Location: Cleveland, OH

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for its Emergency Department. You'll provide critical respiratory care to acutely ill and injured patients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT
• Active Ohio RRT license (in hand at time of submission)
• Current NBRC certification (in hand at time of submission)
• Current BLS certification (in hand at time of submission)
• ACLS and NIHSS certifications strongly preferred
• Two professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director within the past 12 months (no peer references)

Scheduling & Expectations

• Weekends as needed
• Float opportunities available across the facility network
• All scheduling requests and time-off preferences must be communicated during interview

Compliance Notes

• Nicotine-free facility (all candidates must be nicotine-free)
• COVID-19 and influenza vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions available)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen + nicotine test required within 12 months of start; annual renewal required
• Background screening reviewed by facility (no license hits accepted)
• BCI/FBI fingerprints must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
