Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technologist

Day shift, 4x10 hours (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

20-week contract

Guaranteed 40 hours per week

About the Role

Join the cardiac catheterization lab at the facility as a Cath Lab Technologist. You'll support a high-volume procedural team managing cardiac, vascular, and pain management cases across four dedicated procedure rooms. The lab performs approximately 280 cases monthly, including 8–12 STEMIs per month.

Clinical Scope

• Cardiac catheterization (diagnostic and interventional)
• Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) and stent placement
• Electrophysiology procedures (pacemaker/AICD insertion, cardiac ablation, cardioversion)
• Vascular interventions (peripheral angiography, port placement, thrombectomy, carotid stenting)
• Pain management procedures (RF ablation, steroid injections)
• Hemodynamic monitoring and EKG lead placement
• Room circulation and patient care

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years cath lab experience
• RCIS certification with interventional radiology tech experience required
• ACLS, BLS certifications
• Travel experience required
• Valid state license

Call & Weekend Requirements

• On-call mandatory: 14–15 days per 6-week period
• Call hours: 5:30 PM–7:00 AM weekdays; 5:30 PM Friday–7:00 AM Monday for weekend rotations
• Must live within 30 minutes of the facility during call period
• Expect to work some holidays and weekends
