CT Technologist – Night Shift

Location: White Plains, NY

Shift & Schedule:

• Tuesday–Saturday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM
• 37.5 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract

Requirements:

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R); CT certification (ARRT-CT) required
• New York State radiologic technology license
• BLS certification
• IV certification and contrast injection authorization required
• 1+ years of CT experience preferred
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Position Overview:

You'll perform computed tomography imaging exams in a fast-paced acute care setting. Responsibilities include patient positioning, contrast media preparation and administration, pre-exam screening for allergies and contraindications, equipment operation and maintenance, and documentation in departmental systems. You'll monitor patients for adverse reactions and collaborate with radiologists to ensure diagnostic image quality.

Key Duties:

• Perform CT exams per physician orders with accurate positioning and technique
• Review patient history and screen for contraindications
• Administer contrast media safely, monitoring for complications
• Maintain radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and document exams accurately
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and clinical teams
