CT Technologist – Los Angeles, CA
13-Week Contract | Evening/Night Shifts | 5x8-Hour
This CT Technologist opportunity is based in Los Angeles, CA, supporting a busy imaging department serving emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and adult ICU populations. Shift start times vary and may include mid-evening (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) or night (7:00 PM – 3:30 AM) schedules. Weekend coverage may be required based on department needs.
Clinical Scope
The department handles a high volume and broad range of CT procedures, including:
- Head, chest, abdomen, and pelvis imaging (with and without contrast)
- Vascular studies (CTA, pulmonary embolism protocols, aorta)
- Code stroke response and brain perfusion studies
- CT-guided biopsies, aspirations, and drainage procedures
- Myelography (cervical, lumbar, thoracic), CT arthrography, and colonography
- Multiplanar reconstruction and musculoskeletal trauma imaging
- Peripheral IV placement and contrast administration
No floating required. On-call may be required between 11:00 PM and 7:30 AM as needed.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and CT (ARRT-CT) required
- BLS required
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience preferred; first-time travelers considered
- Active California radiologic technology license required at time of submission
- IV certification/venipuncture skills required
- Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions accepted); COVID-19 vaccine not required
- Pre-employment advanced EKG exam required (onsite, 80% passing score, two attempts allowed)
