ICU Nurse – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced ICU nurse for a 13-week contract assignment on the night shift. You'll provide direct care to critically ill patients requiring intensive monitoring, advanced life support, and complex medication management.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Monday start dates available
• Navy blue scrubs required

Requirements

• Active RN license (Georgia or compact license)
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum 18 months of ICU/critical care experience within the past 3 years
• CRRT certification required
• Impella experience required
• ECMO experience preferred
• BSN preferred; ADN accepted per facility policy
• CCRN certification preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to high-acuity patients with hemodynamic monitoring, mechanical ventilation, and advanced life support
• Manage titratable vasoactive and sedation drips
• Monitor arterial lines, central lines, and hemodynamic data; respond to acute changes
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on patient care plans
• Perform rapid response and code interventions as needed
• Educate patients and families on treatment and care needs
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record
• Follow infection control and safety protocols
