Registered Nurse
Inpatient Oncology / Med-Surg RN — Night Shift | Morgantown, WV
This 13-week travel contract (with extension potential) places you on an inpatient oncology unit that also accepts med-surg overflow. The unit serves adult and geriatric patients across a range of oncologic diagnoses, including breast, lung, colorectal, brain, and hematologic cancers, among others.
Shift & Schedule
- 4 x 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Weekday shifts; every other weekend required
- Blocked scheduling available
- Start date: September 14, 2026
Clinical Scope
You'll administer IV, oral, and continuous infusion chemotherapy; manage ports, PICC lines, and central lines; and monitor patients for treatment-related complications including neutropenic precautions, anaphylaxis, tumor lysis syndrome, and extravasation. The role also includes blood product administration, wound care, colostomy/ileostomy management, and collaboration with pharmacy, rapid response, and the full interdisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years RN experience
- Active WV or compact RN license (pending accepted)
- BLS and ACLS required (AHA only)
- ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification preferred
- NIHSS preferred
- Strong IV start skills required; port access and central line experience expected
- Previous charge experience preferred

- Scrubs: burgundy and/or white (not provided)
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
- Attendance expectations are strict — no more than 2–3 call-offs per contract
- Permanent address must be 100+ miles from the facility
- Orientation: 12 hours, held every other Monday
