Observation Unit – RN (Night Shift)

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Observation Unit, working nights to provide care for patients requiring short-term monitoring and assessment.

Shift & Schedule

• 3 × 12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Available start: Mondays (starting August 10, 2026)

Requirements

• Active RN license (Georgia or Compact)
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 18 months of specialty experience within the past 3 years
• Willingness to work within a 50-mile radius (no local travelers)

What You'll Do

Care for observation patients requiring short-term monitoring in a fast-paced unit setting. You'll perform assessments, manage patient flow, and coordinate with the clinical team to support timely patient disposition decisions.

• Navy blue scrubs
• Virtual interview process; Unit Manager will follow up after initial screening
• Guaranteed hours; contract based on 90-hour commitment
