Location: Atlanta, GA
Shift: Tuesday–Friday, 9 PM–7:30 AM (4 x 10 nights)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Start Date: July 13, 2026
About the Role
The facility's imaging department is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality computed tomography exams in a fast-paced, trauma-focused setting. You'll support critical patient care, including stroke and burn imaging, working with an experienced radiology team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging exams per physician orders with accurate positioning and image quality
- Prepare and administer contrast media; screen for allergies, renal function, and contraindications
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions during and after contrast administration
- Operate CT equipment and troubleshoot technical issues
- Maintain strict radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles
- Document exams accurately in imaging management systems
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure diagnostic quality
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required
- ARRT certification in CT (ARRT-CT) preferred/required per facility
- State radiologic technology license (as applicable)
- BLS certification required
- IV certification and venipuncture skills
- 1+ years of CT experience preferred
